The “Grey Days” celebration that just exited from view is proof of an enduring truth for New Balance. While their essential neutral colorways will always be in vogue for their core fanbase, their love for the shade needs to take more intriguing directions if they’re to capture the attention of the general consumer.
The fact that many models have made repeat “Grey Days” appearances and managed to mint successful looks on each occasion speaks to NB’s designer’s abilities to do so.
