With the exception of its inaugural “Still Water” colorway, the New Balance 2000 appears poised for its first real breakout moment thanks to a “Liquid Metal” pack slated for Spring/Summer. As New Balance hopes that duo might be the catalyst for truly bringing the 2000 into the mainstream, other new inline styles continue to surface in support of that same mission.

This women’s-exclusive pair takes a decidedly lowkey approach, featuring grey overlays paired with Truffle Salt and Pink Salt hues in the background. The soft pink tones extend onto the midsole, where nine ABZORB SBS cushioning pods give the silhouette its distinctive Y2K feel. The result is a clean blend of classic New Balance design language with a subtle feminine touch.
