As we stroll into February, the hysteria surrounding Valentine’s Day shoes is at its fiercest, as spouses and SOs seek out the perfect pair for the occasion. It’s only fitting that brands have bent over backwards to make sure that their catalog is stocked with as many choices as possible, and New Balance is now bolstering its arsenal anew.
Enter the New Balance 1906R “Rose Sugar,” a retailer-exclusive edition touching down in adults’ and GS sizing. As one of the Boston brand’s most populous offerings, it’s rare that color-blocking really shocks us any longer, yet the split between deeper pink shades in the rear and paler equivalents toward the toe is noteworthy all the same. As our title would indicate, it’s the detailing on the heel cage that’s the centerpiece of this design, tacking on a run of delicate, frilly fabric for a “cottage core” flourish on the tech runner titan.
The New Balance 1906R “Rose Sugar” drops on January 30th in women’s and GS sizing. Watch our “Where To Buy” widget for direct pick-up links upon arrival.
