Those tapped into the broader footwear landscape probably saw this one coming. The Wallabee-adjacent New Balance 1890A is leaning into the more fashion-forward side of its identity with an on-trend “Cow Print” colorway for Holiday 2026, shown here via official images.

The New Balance 1890A is an unusual hybrid by design, pairing a moc-toe upper with the sole unit of the New Balance 2002. This style pushes that formula decisively toward lifestyle territory, doing away with the mesh and technical overlays seen on other looks in favor of a more contemporary material mix. Brown and off-white cow print covers the toe box and surrounding underlays, joined by hairy suede overlays and off-white leather around the collar. This continues a growing trend in the sneaker space, with brands of all stripes, including New Balance itself with an upcoming 327 pack, taking cues from the formal footwear/boot genre with cow print makeups.

The New Balance 1890A “Cow Print” is expected to release Holiday 2026 through New Balance and select retailers, with a price hovering around $200. See official images below if you’re feeling these.
