Nike is no stranger to a holiday-themed sneaker releases, with hundreds of unique pairs crafted for special occasions. This year, the Swoosh is turning to Jordan Brand for a Halloween release, featuring the Air Jordan 5.

Nike has a long history of Halloween-themed sneakers that blend playful storytelling with darker, seasonal design. The tradition gained momentum in the mid-2000s with special colorways featuring spooky graphics, glow-in-the-dark soles, and themed packaging. Nike SB became especially known for Halloween releases, producing memorable Dunk Low editions inspired by mummies, pumpkins, skeletons, and classic horror imagery. Other silhouettes like the Air Force 1, Air Max 90, and LeBron models have also received Halloween makeovers.

This week, we have our first leak regarding the 2026 Halloween lineup, which brings a Jordan Brand model into the fold, something of a rare occurrence for Nike. We have not seen a formal mainline Jordan shoe get a Halloween themed release in years, but that will reportedly change in 2026. New information from @zSneakerheadz this week says that the Air Jordan 5 will get a spooky new look this year, though the exact look is still up in the air. Mockups show a blacked-out colorway with orange accents along the soles, glow-in-the-dark outsoles, and most importantly, Nike Air branding on the heels.

AIR JORDAN 5 “HALLOWEEN” RELEASE INFORMATION

The seasonal take on the Air Jordan 5 has not been announced yet, but leaks say that pairs will be available on October 24th, 2026. This puts the release one week ahead of it’s “Halloween” theme, which dresses the shoe in black with orange accents and a GITD sole. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers, reportedly for a $220 price tag.
