Jordan 4 Rare Air Tour Yellow

UPDATE 8/17/26: Nike has added the Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow” to their SNKRS release calendar, officially landing on September 5th, 2026. Returning for the first time in twenty years, the special colorway joins the Rare Air program for this release, with special branding under the interchangeable tongue labels. Unclear right now if there will be a few special pairs out there with different colored thread hidden underneath, varying from the standard white stitching, so check your pairs once they’re in hand to be sure.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Jordan Brand is rolling out plenty of hits for their current campaign highlighting the Air Jordan 4. This week, we have our first look at new pairs of the “Tour Yellow” color scheme, a 2006 release making its way back onto shelves for the first time in twenty years.

The early 2000s run of new Jordan colorways still stands as one of the best periods in sneaker history. At the time, Nike was already deep into retro culture, rereleasing fan favorite Air Jordans and iconic colors to meet the growing nostalgia for sneakers from twenty years earlier. Some of the most iconic non-OG styles ever made originate in this period, plenty of which have returned to the brand’s catalog in recent years. One of the still-unreleased styles is the 2006 “Tour Yellow” Air Jordan 4, a simple white and black colorway with a bold yellow sole accent. This pair originally released alongside two other fan-favorites, the “Lightning” and “Thunder” colors which were rereleased in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Now, the “Tour Yellow” pair is getting its first retro later this year. The new pair recreates the original to a tee, with its striking yellow and black speckled accent being the main feature of the shoe.
