Folks, this is a big one. Jordan Brand’s annual Air Jordan 11 release for 2026 has been confirmed, bringing back the iconic “Space Jam” colorway after its last release a decade ago.

The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” has one of the most iconic stories in sneaker history. Michael Jordan first wore the unreleased black-and-blue AJ11 during the 1995 NBA Playoffs, catching fans’ attention with its sleek patent-leather look. The shoe gained legendary status a year later when it appeared in the 1996 film Space Jam, cementing its nickname. Despite its popularity, the colorway didn’t release to the public until 2000, followed by major retros in 2009 and 2016. The beloved colorways remains as one of the most sought-after pairs of the Jordan 11, and luckily, we’l have another shot at a pair next year.

The last release of the “Space Jam” colorway was not a proper retro of the original. Released in 2024, the AJ11 Low did give fans of the iconic color scheme another shot at the shoe, but true Jordan heads were still waiting on the shoe’s high-top variant to return. That drop came eight years after the 2016 re-release, making this pair one of the most elusive retro releases from Jordan. Next year’s revival of the beloved style will come exactly ten years on the heels of its predecessor, which was the holiday pair back in the mid 2010s.
