The Air Jordan 3 “We Outside,” and subsequently, an Air Jordan 3 ACG sample, firmly stamped that osmosis between the Swoosh’s outdoor category and the Jumpman roster was a building concept. A merger between a push to play and Nike ACG aesthetics inspiration, the motif now takes on two builds of Mike’s first signature.
Two differing executions, built on the Air Jordan 1 Mid and the Air Jordan 1 Low, arrive in grade school sizing, either one echoing much of the colorway we first saw on the AJ3. On a hardware level, ripstop materials return to palpably speak to the title, but the ACG combination of vibrant tones and earthier counterplay stamps this as an outdoorsy Nike product from first glance. With a blend of teal, dark brown, and neon green, the Mid may achieve that more wholeheartedly, but the off-white anchoring of the Low counterpart still does an admirable job, particularly with its hi-vis gradient Swoosh. Jumpman carabiners and rocky insert paper close out this delivery as a whole.
