James Harden and the Cleveland Cavaliers are officially running it back, now armed with their long-awaited answer on the wing in the form of Peyton Watson. For The Beard and adidas, it’s a different story. Don’t fret; the perennial All-Star remains a load-bearing piece of their signature roster, yet his series is primed to take its biggest aesthetic step in some time with the Harden Vol. 11. Before we get too ahead of ourselves, the Three Stripes has plenty in the can for the back half of the adidas Harden Vol. 10, including the “HarDenim” colorway pictured here.
The prominence of jeans-wearing sneakers has been on the rise for several seasons now, mostly in the realm of lifestyle kicks, but as this shoe exemplifies, performance kicks haven’t been excluded entirely. The adidas Harden Vol. 10 “HarDenim” takes a Sashiko-style approach to the material, as the exposed stitching on the sidewalls represents. Light tan anchoring on the heel and in the outsole Three Stripes make these certifiably Cavs-approved, with those rear sections hosting some trademark mottos from the mind of the Beard: “Under No One” and “Imma Be A Star.”
The adidas Harden Vol. 10 “HarDenim” should be dropping this Holiday season, placing it between September and the end of the year. We’re expecting the standard $160 retail price upon arrival.
