The viral #bootsonlysummer wave came and went in a flash, but the models that emerged during the movement are only now hitting retail. For adidas, that means the debut of the adidas F50 Adiframe, a reworked take on the brand’s iconic F50 boot built for pavement over pitch.

Sure to be one of the most polarizing releases of 2026, the F50 Adiframe features cleat studs housed within a clear, fully enclosed TPU shell underfoot. Up top we have a synthetic upper featuring a tongue cover and abstract stripe detailing. The model resembles a complete flip of the soccer shoe trend, not a soccer shoe embraced for lifestyle wear a la the adidas Samba, but a true lifestyle shoe designed to look like a boot. This debut colorway is every bit as eccentric as the concept itself, done up in vibrant “Shock Pink” with silver stripes.

The F50 Adiframe arrives amid a broader push to fold the F50 line into adidas’ lifestyle category, joined by the adidas Taekwondo F50 and other spins like the Climacool F50 and Megaride F50, which draw inspo from later models in the boot line. Nike is also tapping into the wearable soccer boot trend with a new line called Cryoshot, set to roll out collabs with some serious names like Patta and the Virgil Abloh Archive.

Back to the sneaker at hand, the adidas F50 Adiframe “Shock Pink” drops March 1st via adidas and boutiques. Pricing info is inconsistent, but something around the $200 USD mark seems likely. The model appears to be a women’s exclusive as of this writing.
