Social Status’ ‘Cobblestone’ Nike Mac Attack Arrives This Fall

This year, Social Status has teamed up with Nike for a series of releases featuring the Mac Attack. With two colorways under their belt already, a new ‘Cobblestone’ style has emerged this week, coming soon.

This year, Nike revived the Mac Attack, the 1984 signature tennis shoe for John McEnroe. We’ve seen a handful of in-line releases over the course of the Summer, as well as several special-edition releases from Social Status to boot. This week, another style from the Carolina-based retail chain surfaced, adding another tear-away color scheme to their upcoming releases. Dressed in a ‘Cobblestone’ colorway, the new style appears to match the black & white look seen in their initial teaser here, though we likely won’t know for sure until they announce the collaboration officially. The look begins with a full 3M reflective mesh underlay, adding dark Cobblestone grey to the forefoot and lacing overlays. The heel counters are added in two layers, off-white and black, with a dark grey Swoosh to complete the look.

Social Status’ next release of their Nike Mac Attack has not been announced yet, though we expect the next ‘Silver Linings’ colorway to arrive sometime this Fall. Dressed in a dark ‘Cobblestone’ grey exterior with a full 3M mesh base, pairs will be available first from Social Status, followed by a wider SNKRS release for $140.
