Absolutely a sleeper model, the Nike Air Max Plus VII has taken a restrained approach to its first-ever bring-back. Perhaps understanding that it fits the “if you know you know” side of things, the Swoosh has been measured in letting loose new colorways, initially leaning on a range of OG editions before getting a bit more intriguing after a number of months, notably with the Kylian Mbappe Air Max Plus VII that spoke to the Tn family’s cachet in Europe.

Is it time to get even wilder with the model as it nears year 2? With the first earnest special edition coming to light via this Nike Air Max Plus VII “Scorpion,” we’re leaning yes. To note the obvious up top, previous reports of the NOCTA Air Max Plus immediately jump to mind given Drake’s proud Scorpio status, but without a hint of any cross branding or mention of his label, it appears to be a coincidence at most.
