While maybe a little late to the party, Saucony is joining the viral sneaker mule trend with a slip-on version of the resurgent Progrid V2, set to launch August 1st in two colorways.

The Progrid V2 originally released as a performance runner in 2011 and was only recently brought back for lifestyle purposes earlier this year, checking off a number of GRs upon arrival but since taking a back seat other silhouettes. Until now, that is. The Progrid V2 Mule maintains the midsole and distinct, flat forefoot paneling of its sneaker counterpart, the latter now done in suede rather than leather. The heel is chopped off entirely, while the tongue and lacing setup is replaced by stretchy neoprene for a slip-on fit.

Two Progrid V2 Mule colorways are en route, one in “Triple Black” and another in “Trek/Black” with subtle red detailing. Pairs drop August 1st, 2026 in unisex sizes for $140. Return to our Where to Buy section below for purchase links on launch day.
