While many of the debut looks for the Jellyfish relied on pretty classic tech runner aesthetics with tone-on-white layouts, the adidas Jellyfish “Red” demonstrates a more daring direction the maximalist silhouette has reached for in recent releases. A smattering of adjacent reds takes up the base layer before a vein of grey cuts across the sidewalls, rounded out with reliable jet black detailing in the spaces between.

In typical Pharrell x adidas fashion, this style is already somewhat storied before it ever touched down to the public. The two tapped James Harden to debut this version before Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals this past postseason, redoubling The Beard’s A-list status within the Three Stripes and adding to a celeb-heavy rollout for later Jellyfish colorways. The adidas Jellyfish in Red is expected to release on October 24th via adidas, CONFIRMED, and retail partners, commanding a $300 retail price across all of those channels.
