The Jordan Trunner LX marked a major milestone for Jordan Brand as the subsidiary’s first-ever non-basketball shoe. Still, when it came to original colorways, the playbook stayed familiar. Worn by Roy Jones Jr. in the model’s original ad campaigns was a “Bred” aka “Bulls” colorway inspired by Chicago, last seen in 2017 during the shoe’s previous retro run. Now in the midst of another Trunner resurgence, the original colorway is returning once again, albeit with one key difference.
The original Trunner and its 2017 retro featured Gym Red around the heel, but this version opts for a noticeably brighter University Red. Otherwise, the formula remains largely unchanged. The forefoot and interior are done in black, while segmented white leather panels add protection around the toe.
The Jordan Trunner LX “Bred” aka “Bulls” is expected to release soon via Nike and retailers, priced at $135. The model remains a women’s-exclusive offering during its current retro run. See official images below and hit our Jordan releases page for more.
