McDonalds is returning to the sneaker world this season for a special release with Nike and Devin Booker. The Suns’ guard is borrowing the colors of their famous Sedona location for a new pair of the Book 2, coming soon.

McDonalds has been intertwined with basketball for decades, mainly through their sponsorship of the high school All-American Game each year. Their ties to the event date back to the very first time the game was played in 1978, which they helped shape and organize into the special occasion it is today. Devin Booker, the Arizona Suns’ guard and proprietor of two Nike signature shoes, played in the game in 2014 before making his way to Kentucky, and finally, the NBA. Now residing in Arizona, the Suns star has teamed up with Nike and McDonalds to celebrate one of the fast food chain’s most unique locations; the restaurant in Sedona, AZ. Due to strict building codes within the city, McDonalds was not allowed to put their signature Golden Arches onto that location, opting instead for the bold teal color the area is known for. The look has been translated onto the Book 2 for an upcoming release, coloring the shoe in a soft sand shade, paired with Dusty Cactus teal for the Swooshes, inner lining, and outsoles. The McDonald’s M logo appears on the outer heel of both shoes.

The next collaboration featuring the Nike Book 2 is expected to drop early next month, on June 2nd, 2026. Teaming up with McDonald’s for this special release, Devin Booker’s signature model takes on the special colors of the fast food chain’s Sedona, Arizona location. Pairs will likely release from Nike and select retailers for $155.
