Nike is going all in on their Moon Shoe retro, leaning hard into the super slim sneaker trend in women’s fashion. This week, we have an early look at their next round of colors for the vintage silhouette, landing in May 2026.

Nike’s revival of the Moon Shoe last year sparked lots of praise from the sneaker world. The model was originally produced in limited numbers in 1972, given to track athletes to test. The Moon Shoe was the very first footwear style produced under the Nike name, and incorporated Bill Bowerman’s now-iconic waffle sole design for the first time. For over five decades, the Moon Shoe has been an archival museum piece, often referenced but never reproduced by the Swoosh until its debut in collaboration with Jacquemus. Now, Nike is lining up plenty of in-line styles to go around.

This week, we have an early look at Nike’s next drop for the Moon Shoe, coming in May 2026. This new set brings three colorways to the vintage silhouette, perfectly timed to arrive just ahead of Summer. The first pair in the new collection comes in a dark navy blue shade, paired with white oversized Swooshes and a light gum sole. Next up is a soft yellow pair, with darker yellow suede overlays along the midfoot and heels. Finally, a simple Summit White edition rounds out the pack, also featuring a gum sole. Each pair in the new seasonal drop will come with an extra set of laces to style how you please.

NIKE MOON SHOE MAY 2026 RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s next batch of colorways for their sleek Moon Shoe retro has been scheduled to release early next month on May 7th, 2026. Arriving in time to blend between Spring & Summer, this drop features three colorways, a dark navy blue, a bright yellow, and a simple triple white style. All three pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $105.
