Kevin Durant’s signature sneaker line with Nike is on its 18th model currently, but has begun to retro some of the classics. This year, we are scheduled to see a ton of iconic pairs of the KD 6, including the beloved “Meteorology” pair this Summer.

Kevin Durant’s signature line with Nike has been going strong since 2008, and is currently on its eighteenth iteration. While the Nike Basketball team has been cooking with the KD18 this year, the growing nostalgia for some of his classic models has brought Nike back around, issuing retros of some fan-favorite early pairs in recent years. The KD4 was the first model to return to the Swoosh catalog this decade, and the KD6 has begun its retro run as of February with the “Illusion” colorway. Now, rumors say that the 2013 “Meteorology” style is on the way for a release this Summer. The pair sports a mostly jet black tone across the upper, using an Atomic Red neon shade for the Swooshes, oversized KD logos, and the topographic pattern across the silhouette for a striking look.

The next retro in Kevin Durant’s line of signature Nike shoes is currently expected to release this Summer, on July 3rd, 2026. Still unconfirmed by the Swoosh, the fan-favorite black colorway with Atomic Red accents will likely release from both the brand’s SNKRS app and select retailers for $140.
