Now in its 42nd iteration, Nike’s iconic Pegasus line is trading its running miles for fairway rounds. Here we have the Nike Pegasus 1 Golf, an all-new model that could be the start of a broader spinoff series.

We should start by noting that this technically isn’t the first Pegasus golf shoe. Nike quietly introduced the Pegasus ’89 Golf in 2024, tapping into the franchise’s archives with a retro-inspired build that went pretty much unnoticed. The Pegasus 1 Golf, meanwhile, reads as the first entry in a modern lineage, arriving with the performance chops to back that up.

Built with stability and comfort in mind, the model features hybrid traction with integrated forefoot spikes and a heel engineered to stay grounded through your swing. A Cushlon + ReactX foam combo is utilized underfoot, while added side plates help ensure lateral stability. A waterproof upper rounds things out for reliable, all-weather performance.

The Nike Pegasus 1 Golf debuts May 1st in the black colorway embedded below, with “White/Sail” and “Sail/Black/Hyper Pink” options arriving on/shortly after that date. Retail is set at $170.
