With the new year coming up quick, sneaker brand’s are lining up their releases for the Asian Lunar New Year celebration. This week, the Nike Dunk Low has joined the Air Force in donning a “Pegasus”-themed look for the Year of the Horse.

The upcoming 2026 Lunar new Year collection from Nike will mark the Swoosh’s second rotation around the 12-year zodiac calendar, returning to the Year of the Horse for the third time. The horse was the focus of Nike’s original Lunar New Year collection, way back in 2002. The releases were much simpler then, just a special new colorway without all the detailed bells & whistles we look forward to in the modern drops. The Air Force 1 and Ja 3 have already been teased for the 2026 collection, and this week we have an official look at the Dunk Low from the project. Similar to the AF1, the Dunk takes on a “Pegasus” theme, somewhat of an extension of the equine inspiration. The look features a suede and leather build in Linen, white, Olive, and Hazel tones. The heel panel is where the shoe truly, shines, featuring both embroidered pegasus graphics as well as a topographic-style element layered on top. Mini red Swooshes add a splash of bright color, while metallic lace ornaments complete the look.

NIKE DUNK LOW “PEGASUS” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s annual Lunar New Year collection is taking on a “Pegasus” theme in 2026 for the Year of the Horse, and is expected to release sometime in February around the holiday. The Dunk Low has joined the project this week, dressed in a “Linen” color scheme with plenty of equine inspired details. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers, pricing for this release is currently unknown.
