Nike’s Air Footscape Woven Gets a Premium ‘Black Croc’ Upgrade

Nike’s Air Footscape is set to return later this month, bringing an older model back to life. This week, a new premium edition has surfaced, featuring a ‘Black Croc’ leather upper.

Nike’s Air Footscape line debuted in 1996, taking a radical new direction for the brand’s running shoe family. Using asymmetrical lacing to better conform to an athletes foot, the unconventional model has occasionally reappeared as more of a collector’s shoe. This year, the Swoosh is set to revive the Woven version of the silhouette, which adds nylon webbing elements throughout for a moccasin-inspired look. With the Cow Print color scheme finally landing on Nike’s release calendar this week, we also have a first look at a new Premium edition of the silhouette, which will launch later this year. The silhouette features a sleek ‘Black Croc’ leather upper, which shows exposed brown edges on each panel. The woven pieces come in black, while a white midsole completes the look.

Nike’s new premium colorway of the Air Footscape Woven has not been announced for release yet, but we expect to see them roll out with the other new colors in the remainder of 2023. Dressed in black crocodile leather, this pair will likely be available from both the SNKRS app and select retailers, with an estimated price tag oof $160.
