Nike SB expands on its run of food-inspired Dunk Lows, and the next release takes inspiration from one of New Mexico’s most recognizable ingredients. The “Hatch Chili” Dunk Low turns the pepper’s different stages into a color-changing upper, while several smaller details add to the spicy theme.
This Nike SB Dunk Low features a Saffron Quartz, Pear, and Buff Gold color scheme. The upper transitions from a brighter Yellow tone around the heel to Tan through the middle, then to Green near the toe. Black suede appears on the Swoosh and overlays, while the laces, tongue, and outsole follow the darker color scheme. The color blocking is designed to represent the different stages of Hatch chiles as they grow.
