Nike Mind 001, Deion Sanders Shoes, And This Week’s Best Releases

We’re sure to see another heavy one in the near future as All-Star fare touches down, but the start of a new months brings a metric ton of non-affiliated material this week.

A monumental occassion within footwear in its own right, Valentine’s Day inching closer makes for the main event here, as the Air Jordan 4 mints a classy white and red for the occasion, joined by a Dunk Low at the very top of the week. As our title would indicate, the adidas Bob Marley collection is the other headliner, bringing together soccer classics and modern innovations alike for a celebration of the late legend. As always, there’s much to watch on the hardwood: the Book 2 goes “Spiridon” mode, the Kobe 1 and the Air Force 1 Low remember The Forum in Inglewood, and the era of the GT Cut 4 is upon us with the Paige Bueckers-worn “Preheat.” On the lifestyle front, the Mind 001 and 002 gear up for what’s certain to be another sell-out event, the New Balance 991 adds a new luxe “Chocolate Plum,” and the adidas XLG 2.0 / Squid officially launches.

February 1st is a varied bunch, as the 1st of the month typically brings. The Nike Dunk Low “Valentine’s Day” offers probably the most notable, but an earthy overhaul for the PUMA LaFrance RNR “Ice Coffee” and some World Cup seeds in the adidas F50 Tunit “Argentina” are worthy of the mention. For those dying to get back out on the green, the Jumpman has you in mind: the Jordan 1 Low Golf “Cool Grey” and Jordan Spizike Low Golf OG each dig in.

February 2nd, in a rare occurrence, spends all of its time on the gridiron: the Reebok Brutus Lo returns in two colorways.

February 3rd has hoopers rejoice, as the next GT Cut chapters starts with the Nike Zoom GT Cut 4 “Preheat” while adidas’ crown jewel marches on with the Anthony Edwards 2 “USA.”

February 4th is all about the Mamba, as the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 “Work Blue” and Kobe Air Force 1 Low “City of Champions” celebrate the Forum.

February 5th is easily the most populous, first highlighted by the arrival of the adidas Squid / adidas adiStar XLG 2.0 for that “Jellyfish without breaking the bank” appeal. Shockingly minting instant sellouts in its first release, the Nike Mind 001 “Black” and Mind 002 “Black” will likely command the same in this new stealthy duo. The New Balance 991 “Chocolate Plum” marks an ultra-luxe edition for the catalog favorite, before the Swoosh goes high-quantity to close: the Nike Vomero Premium Realtree, the Goadome DMV, the debut of the Structure Plus, the KD 18 “Coconut Milk,” and more from the Skims Nike Air Rift Mesh round out a big day.

February 6th sees the third material build in three colorways for the Nike Book 2 “Spiridon,” unafraid to wear its inspiration on its sleeves. While that door opens, the Nigo Air Force 3 book closes as the ertswhile Bape head’s work on the silhouette finishes with a “Varsity Jacket” edition. For the Three Stripes ‘heads, the Bob Marley adidas is a can’t-miss, uniting several disparate silhouettes under the legend’s banner. A modern classic returns with the Air Max 270 Premium (with a few changes), while the Nike LeBron 23 “Shut Up And Dribble” remembers a “bigger than basketball moment.” Finally, the Nike Air Max 95 Golf “Waste Management Open” pens to the fan-favorite tourney while the Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Receipts Ready” offers restocked quantities of the debut look.

February 7th’s headliner is the Jumpman’s as well, as the Air Jordan 4 “Valentine’s Day” arrives in full family sizing ahead of the big day. If you’re not feeling so romantic, a quartet of geo-exclusives come via the Nike Air Max 95 “City Pack,” or the Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 “Prime Red” and Diamond Turf 2 Cleats cracks open a fresh silhouette in the Deion Sanders archive. Last but certainly not last, Salehe Bembury’s always busy schedule slides another one onto the calendar: the Salehe Bembury PUMA Velum “Magenta Storm.”
