Nike Mind 001 / 002, Jordan Luka 5, And This Week’s Best Releases

Let us be the last to say it: happy new year! While the start of the month came with a heavy slate of general releases, it’ll take some time for the industry at large to defrost from the holidays. Despite that, there’s still a smaller selection of notable product on the way, not least of which is the “Nike Mind” series, comprised of a sneaker and slide style and tooled to bridge the gap between athletes’ bodies and, fittingly, minds. Luka Doncic gets plenty of pub this week as well, ushering in a new signature silhouette and adding a new look to his outdoors hoops model as well. A fresh Devin Booker x Nike Blazer Low adds to novel editions of the Dunk, Air Force 1, Baltoro, and Shox to round things out.

January 6th starts on a classy note, as the Nike Dunk Low Leather goes from lifestyle to luxury. Then it’s to the latest Devin Booker Blazer Low, a tiger-striped homage to Book’s hometown.

January 7th centers on the Nike Shox R4 Distressed, a grungy update to the retro icon.

January 8th has plenty of newness, perhaps highlighted by the Nike Mind 001 and Mind 002, new innovations that aim at increasing the connection between athletes’ mental and physical. Wonder Boy then takes the spotlight to close;  the Jordan Luka 5 debuts in “Venom” and “Viper Edge” colorways. January 9th continues Nike Boot SZN via the Nike Baltoro “Olive Khaki,” but two everlasting street models pen commemorative looks via the Dunk Low “Year of the Horse” and Air Force 1 Low “Year of the Horse.”
