Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Girl Dad” Releasing May 2023

Girl Dad was a phrase that took the internet by storm after Kobe and Gigi Bryant’s passing. To pay tribute to Kobe and Gigi, Nike Basketball will release the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Girl Dad” in May 2024.

2024 will be Kobe Bryant’s year. Not just because the various pairs of his signature line returning to retailers, but more than half of his career he wore the number 24. After Vanessa Bryant, who leads the Kobe estate, resigned with Nike. Making sure her late husbands legacy continues, one of her goals was to make sure all his fans can obtain a pair. Although the hype is high for each drop, the amount of pairs looks to be increased. As we continue to leak more upcoming drops of his shoe, the next pair is the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Girl Dad”, aka “Bicoastal”, and it will be available in the Summer of 2024.

Unlike some of the other pairs we talked about, like the “Philly” Kobe 4, “Italian Camo” Kobe 6, and the “Venice Beach” Kobe 8, the “Girl Dad” Kobe 4 will be a new colorway introduced to the sneaker community.

This Nike Kobe 4 Protro comes dressed in a Bicoastal, Black, and Metallic Silver color combination. Highlighted with Green suede across the base and toe box with the signature perforations. Next, Black adorns the Swoosh logos, liner, and laces. Another standout feature is the Metallic Silver on the heel counter with Kobe’s signature in Bicoastal. On the inside of the tongues, we have “Girl Dad” embroidery that solidifies the theme. Other details include Zoom Air cushioning and an icy translucent outsole.

Nike Kobe 4 Protro Girl Dad Release Date

You can expect the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Girl Dad”, aka “Bicoastal” to be released at select retailers and Nike.com during the Summer of 2024. The retail price is $190. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you.
