Ja Morant's impressive handles, high-flying dunks and supreme athleticism were enough to persuade Nike to invest in him a make him the newest signature member of its hoops family. He debuted his Nike Ja 1 on Christmas Day last year, and has since been gradually unveiling it in a slew of new colorways. And ahead of the Grizzlies first-round playoff matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers, the kicks have now surfaced in a brand new red, blue and white colorway.Mesh uppers and suede overlays of this court-ready offering come blasted with a bold red hue and complemented with bright blue Swooshes and tongue branding. Extra accents pop out through the interior liners and lateral heel branding. Additionally, the embroidered "12" hits on the rear — which nods to the point guard's jersey number — split between blue stitches on the left and purple threads on the right similar to how the tongue banners arrive in mismatched fashion with Morant's signature logo.
