We’ve seen this playbook plenty of times before; a brand drops a coveted pair before slowly beginning to trickle out general release fare that approximates its selling points a few months later. Hell, much of the run to date for a shoe like the Air Jordan 4 RM has been of that quality. The Nike Air Force 1 Low, by contrast, obviously far exceeds the RestoMod silhouette in terms of stylability on its own merits, but you can’t rule it out of that conversation entirely.
To spell things out explicitly, it’s easy to draw a line from the success of Lil Yachty’s AF1 and the series of patent leather Air Force 1 colorways we’ve seen populate the newswire as of late. The “Pink Camo” has been the most visible, but LeBron James’ crown-laden build and an upcoming “Topaz Gold” stick out in the lineage as well. For those whose wardrobes lean extremely expressive, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Patent Leather “Pink Cooler” just may have your name on it, built of multiple adjacent rosy shades across the sole unit, underlays, and overlays, before a jet black Swoosh/heel cup cut through that vibrant fare and the laces deliver contrast aquatic hues.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Pink Cooler” releases via SNKRS on December 5th, retailing for $120. Catch official images below and watch our Sneaker Release Dates page within reach for more info.
