Nike Is Dropping A Blind-Bag Kobe Draft Day T-Shirt Collection

What began as one of Nike Basketball’s more creative footwear concepts of 2026 is now making its way to the apparel side. Following the reveal of the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day” Pack, Nike is expanding the story with a matching collection of Kobe Draft Day T-shirts inspired by the 1996 NBA Draft. Much like the footwear release, the apparel centers on the thirteen teams that passed on Kobe Bryant before he was ultimately acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Like the Kobe 4s, this “Draft Pack” t-shirt collection consists of fourteen total colorways — thirteen corresponding to the lottery teams that bypassed Bryant on draft night and the Charlotte Hornets, and a fourteenth edition in Lakers colors. The primary color of the shirt is based on the team, while the KOBE lettering, done in classic Lakers-esque varsity style, aligns with the team’s secondary colors. The draft board-inspired detailing as well as a full lottery-themed arrangement of numbers one through thirteen appear on the bottom left.

In keeping with the spirit of the original concept, Nike is embracing the element of surprise; each shirt will be packaged inside an anti-static sealed bag with the Kobe logo, preventing customers from identifying the design before purchase. In short, cop the tee and you’ll find out what you’re getting on the day of.

Nike also shared full details on the distribution of each colorway; unlike the footwear, the Lakers colorway is the most common as it comprises 8% of the allocation (full breakdown is HERE).

The Nike Kobe Draft Pack T-shirt collection is scheduled to release on June 26th for $60 per shirt. The footwear also drops on June 26th.
