Nike and Jacquemus are rumored to be teaming up for a new shoe in 2024. The brands are reportedly collaborating on a special edition of the Nike Air Max 1 '86.The Air Max 1 '86 made its debut earlier this year in honor of Air Max Day 2023. Reviving the "Big Bubble" design of the 1986 original, the remake featured the same style of air pockets in the sneaker’s sole.It’ll be interesting to see what Simon Porte Jacquemus has in mind for the rumored collaboration, given that the French designer has already teamed up with Nike twice in the past.The Nike Air Humara x Jacquemus was a vintage trail-inspired shoe that came in a “Light Bone and Gold” colorway and featured a synthetic suede midsole. Jacquemus’ and Nike’s J Force 1 Low, meanwhile, was inspired by the latter brand’s low-waste project in the early 2000s, Nike Considered.
