Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Royal Debuts Air Max Day 2024

Nike Sportswear is launching another Air Max 1 ’86 for Air Max Day 2024. The next launch is the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Royal”, available in women’s sizes.

In 2023, we saw the Air Max 1 ’86 return, aka “Big Bubble”, a shoe originally released in 1986. The original release was available in limited quantities and was cut short due to the large Air unit malfunctioning. Shortly after, the Air Max 1 was introduced in 1987 with a smaller visible Air Max unit. The original White and Red colorway returned in 2023, and in 2024, Nike Sportswear will launch the “Royal” iteration. Furthermore, this pair will drop in women’s sizes and be available on Air Max Day 2024.

Highlighted in the original Nike Air Max 1 color blocking consisting of White, Royal Blue, Neutral Grey, and Black. Utilizing Royal Blue suede on the mudguard, TPU eyelets, Nike branding on the tongue and heels, and eyestays. Neutral Grey adorns the panels, vamps, and around the heels, with White on the mesh toe box, tongue, liner, and laces. Other details include the larger visible Air Max unit in the heel, a White midsole, and a tricolor rubber outsole.

Nike Air Max 1 ’86 Royal Release Date

For those that want to buy the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Royal”, the shoes will be available at select retailers and Nike.com on March 26th, 2024, which is Air Max Day.
