Nike Sportswear is reviving the Foamposite Pro in a major way. Not only are we seeing some original colorways return, but also older retros. One of the pairs returning to retailers is the “Gym Red” Foamposite Pro. Initially released in 2015, this iteration was a nod to the “Red October” Yeezy 2.
Originally released in 2015, the “Gym Red” Foamposite Pro was one of three releases that borrowed the color scheme from the Yeezy 2 line. Also launched were the “Yeezy Foamposite Pro in 2014 and the “Pure Platinum” in 2016.
This Nike Air Foamposite Pro is dressed in a Gym Red and Black color combination. As you can see, the shoes are covered in mostly Red, connecting to the “Red October” Yeezy 2. Utilizing Gym Red on the Foamposite shell upper, the eyelets, and around the collar features a subtle reptile-like design. Minimal accents of Black appear on the Swoosh on the toe, tongue, and heel branding, as well as on the mid-foot carbon fiber shank plate. Other details include a Red Swoosh on the panel and a translucent rubber outsole with Black pods.
