The Nike Air Flight Falcon is coming back. Nike is reviving the early 2010s basketball model for Holiday 2026, bringing back two of its original colorways, “Black/Metallic Silver” and “White/Cool Grey,” priced around $100 overseas.
The Falcon’s revival lines up with a broader push from Nike to dig through its early 2010s basketball catalog this season. The Air Zoom Flight The Glove is making a similar Holiday 2026 return, alongside other recent revivals like the Air Bakin in “Triple Black.” Originally released in 2010, the Falcon already leaned on an older design language when it debuted, borrowing shaping cues from the Nike Air Flight ’89 along with proportions that will look familiar to Air Jordan 4 fans.
The Nike Air Flight Falcon Design
Design details include a mid cut build with perforated leather panels, extended eyelet stays around the ankle, and a visible Air unit in the heel. Layered panels and heavier tooling give the shoe the stacked, boxier shape typical of basketball models from that earlier era, and Flight branding on the tongue nods to the original design period. The returning “Black/Metallic Silver” pair revives a colorway that first released in June 2010, with black covering nearly the entire upper and Metallic Silver appearing on the Swoosh, eyelets, and other hardware. The “White/Cool Grey” pair uses white leather across most of the upper, backed by grey paneling and black detailing on the upper and outsole.
Gilbert Arenas gave the Falcon its most visible NBA moment, wearing multiple versions during the 2010 to 2011 season, including a White, Grey, and Blue pair against his former Washington Wizards teammates in February 2011. Nike kept building on the silhouette into 2012, when a black nubuck version finished in Volt and white joined the brand’s Volt Pack. JustFreshKicks will have more on the Air Flight Falcon’s Holiday 2026 release as Nike confirms US pricing and dates.
