New Balance’s retro 580 will remain a staple of their arsenal for the foreseeable future, with new colorways available soon for Fall & Winter. Among the new batch is a ‘Raincloud 2.0’ style, updating the grey style we originally saw in July of this year.

The 580 from New Balance is the latest ’90s model to see a brand new string of releases from the Boston brand, repurposing the old school silhouette for modern lifestyle wear. So far, NB has pushed a sizable number of color schemes for the model, with plenty more still on the way for the rest of the year. This week, we got an early look at an upcoming ‘Raincloud 2.0’ grey color scheme, which updates an earlier release with a darker palette. The pair begins with a black mesh underlay at the toes and heels, adding its namesake grey tone to the suede outer layers. Accents in white help round out the new color scheme.
