New Balance Numeric Updates the 480 Silhouette

New Balance's Numeric division spearheads the brand's skate efforts with its sport-oriented products and roster of skaters. Throughout it's time, Numeric has refreshed various archival New Balance silhouettes and for its latest project, it reinterprets the 480, a shoe that was spotted previously in a basketball-approved version that was once designed in collaboration with eYe Junya Watanabe.In its Numeric debut, the 480 is geared for lengthy skate sessions thanks to its reinforced toe cap and FuelCell foam-backed sole unit. Looking closer at the upper, suede, leather and synthetic details combine to recreate the throwback style. For its debut colorways, "Navy" lands across the upper with white supporting the look and maroon accents appearing at the tongue. As for the "Rust" colorway, its signature orange combines with hits of navy and white alongside the aforementioned maroon tongue.The New Balance Numeric 480 has officially launched via New Balance and select retailers at a price of $100 USD in both the "Navy" and "Rust" colorways.
