The New Balance 204L did a solid job laying the groundwork in 2025, debuting through a collaborative collection with Kith, a healthy run of mainline styles, and a late strong collab by SoCal streetwear brand Basketcase. 2026 figures to be about capitalizing on that momentum, with the goal of potentially pushing the silhouette to the forefront of the slim runner trend (which shows no signs of slowing down). That push is already underway with a new suede pack.

New Balance has experimented with both all-suede and leather/mesh builds throughout the 204L’s short lifespan, with the former drawing clear parallels to Miu Miu’s hyped New Balance 530 releases. Three colorways make up this suede pack: Navy/Salt Water, Black/Magnet, and Grey Matter/Shipyard. Each pair features a tonal all-suede upper, offset only by silver hits on the “N” logos and heel.

The New Balance 204L “Suede Pack” is available now via the New Balance website. Each pair retails for $120 USD and is offered in extended men’s sizing. Check out official images below if you’re considering copping.
