New Balance’s 1300 returns in “Sea Salt” on September 10th, the latest entry in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2026 Made in USA lineup. The release keeps the silhouette’s familiar MiUSA construction but swaps in a textured pigskin build that separates it from past 1300 colorways.
This marks the second release of the season’s Made in USA collection, curated by Aimé Leon Dore founder Teddy Santis, and it’s the only 1300 included this time around. Fresh takes on the 990v4, 992, and 993 are set to follow in the coming weeks and months as the seasonal rollout continues. The New Balance 1300 “Sea Salt” Design
The overlays, “N” logos, and heel backtab are all cut from embossed pigskin with a croc-like texture, subtle from a distance but distinctly upscale up close. The rest of the upper sits in New Balance’s signature “Sea Salt” tone, with Blue Oyster accenting the “N” logos and backtab and a Mulled Wine interior lining rounding out the palette.
