Lucien Clarke's DC Shoes Collaboration Celebrates His Dynamic Skate Career

Jamaican-born creative Lucien Clarke continues expanding his talents across international sectors, communicating his multicultural identity on and off the board. The London-based skater is more than just an athlete, diving into performance and fashion through a streetwear lens. Clarke is preparing to launch his eponymous label, DCV'87, collaborating with DC Shoes to mark the occasion. The project delivers an OG skate silhouette with hybrid twists, combining DC's Lynx Zero uppers and Lynx OG sole technology. The model arrives in black and brown colorways, uniquely reflecting his Jamaican and UK roots. Tonal suede textiles run across the mudguards, ankle flaps, and heels, while resistant leather and mesh enhance the underlay panels. "DCV'87" is faintly revealed through watermarks, appearing strongly on the full-length tongue tabs. DC Shoes' interlocked logo is embroidered on the medials, completing the design with translucent Lynx OG soles. Take a closer look at the DC Shoes x DCV'87 collaboration in the gallery above. The pair will release on July 22 via DC Shoes and select retailers. Elsewhere, the AFEW x Diadora B.560 honors "the best tennis player who never turned pro."
