With 2026 nearing, we are getting early viewings of upcoming Lunar New Year releases. Following the tradition of drops, Jordan Brand will release its own lineup. Celebrating the Year of the Horse, we have a special Jordan Trunner O/S arriving in Spring 2026. The model is inspired by the original Trunner release from the early 2000s but features intricate details that connect to the LNY.
Jordan Brand went with a more traditional look on this Jordan Trunner O/S when it comes to Year of the Horse releases. It features a Mink Brown, Black, Dusty Peach, and Metallic Gold color scheme. As you can see, earthy Brown hue lands on the upper and the cage, with a rugged suede on the tongue and eyestays. The lower part of the shoe is Black, covering the hairy suede mudguard and midsole. There is a small Red Jordan label on the side that’s frayed, with Chinese-inspired art running down the tongue and heel pull tabs. Other details include Gold on the branding and a mostly Brown rubber outsole.

When I first saw the Jordan Trunner O/S, I knew I would eventually need to pick up a pair. While I haven’t bought a new pair of workout shoes yet, I do need a new pair. The Year of the Horse pair is sold, and I could definitely hit the gym. All the details are clean, and I like the colorway, especially the darker shades. If I can catch this pair on discount, it’s a 100% buy.
