The partnership between Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear Of God and adidas is approaching its expected end after the Holiday 2025 season. With no contract renewal and industry sources confirmed with Sneaker News that the partnership will not be renewing, we are entering the final months of this once-hyped union.

Lorenzo himself confirmed that a Fear Of God Athletics III is confirmed to drop as part of the existing contract; this new model has not yet been revealed. Before that debut, they’ve got a unexpected trick up their sleeve before that third and final silhouette comes to light.

Official adidas imagery of the Fear Of God Athletics Basketball II.5 model have surfaced; carrying the same chassis and shape of the Fear Of God Athletics Basketball II, this extended model features a semi-transparent shroud closed by a zipper. These technical-skewed materials are a bit unusual to the Fear Of God x adidas catalog thus far as Lorenzo typically opts for soft suedes in muted earth-toned and pastel colors.

The Athletics branding is far more prominent, appearing via the “A” logo at the heel and the large ATHLETICS text seen beneath the opaque white rubber outsole. We’ve seen similar design variations in the upcoming Derrick Rose Fear Of God Athletics shoe which will drop in October.

While a firm release date has not yet been revealed, this new Fear Of God adidas shoe will carry an MSRP of $200 and will be available on adidas.com as well as Fear Of God’s e-comm channels.
