James Harden Reveals the adidas Harden Vol. 8

34-year-old scoring machine James Harden had a tumultuous offseason once again. Requesting a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers back in June, Harden made it clear he wanted out. After not playing for the 76ers at the start of the 2023-24 NBA season, a trade was finally made with his desired destination, the Los Angeles Clippers. Last night, the shooting guard made his debut with the team, scoring 17 points in a loss against the New York Knicks.While his performance was the focus for many, sneakerheads were quick to identify that he had a new pair of kicks on-foot for his debut. Rumored previously, Harden brought out the next chapter in his signature shoe series with adidas -- presenting the adidas Harden Vol. 8. The futuristic shoe looks to iterate upon the success of the Harden Vol. 7,  keeping elements such as its shape, toe box and reinforced heel padding while introducing a new cage that stretches across the new design. Its initial colorway combines black and orange with the Three Stripes again returning to the heel.The adidas Harden Vol. 7 first landed on shelves in March earlier this year.
