You know what? Sometimes the biggest sneaker reveals don’t happen in carefully orchestrated marketing campaigns; they happen when an artist steps onto a stage in their hometown and lets their feet do the talking.

J Balvin just wrapped up his Hecho en Medellin, Ciudad Primavera homecoming show, a 7+ hour showcase packed with guest appearances and insane production values, and while the music had everyone moving, it was his footwear that stopped sneakerheads mid-scroll. The Colombian superstar debuted a never-before-seen Air Jordan 4 that instantly kicked off speculation about a possible new collaboration. Could this be our first real glimpse at what 2026 has in store?

The colorway is a multi-color mix featuring brown or dark purple on the toe, black on the vamp, seafoam green on the medial side panel, ocean blue on the side panel midsole, and crimson red and violet on the outsole. Honestly, it’s like someone took a sunset, threw it in a blender with some pastels, and poured it onto a Jordan 4 silhouette. The sneaker fits Balvin’s colorful design language, mixing bright panels, contrasting textures, and a playful energy that mirrors his past Jordan projects.

Jordan Brand has collaborated with Balvin three times already, and given the success of those releases, the idea of another project isn’t far-fetched. We’ll be watching closely to see whether this pair becomes a future drop or remains a concert-only moment tied to his hometown show.

Until Jordan Brand or Balvin confirms anything, we’re all just reading tea leaves from stage photos.
