Los Angeles brand Hellstar made waves with their adidas collaboration debut last year, via several flame-accented pairs of the Superstar. Now, they are making their way into performance sneakers, with a desert camo AE2 dropping this weekend.

Hellstar’s collaborative relationship with adidas is a recent but rapidly growing partnership rooted in streetwear culture and creative reinterpretation. In 2025, Los Angeles–based Hellstar teamed up with adidas Originals to reimagine the classic Superstar silhouette, releasing bold, flame-accented versions that first dropped exclusively at ComplexCon with striking graphics and extended overlays. This season, the project continues by expanding into the performance space, making an on-court debut through Anthony Edwards’ AE2 signature model. Initially teased yesterday, Ant stepped onto the court last night in his first sneaker collaboration, debuting a subtle desert camouflage pattern, with accents in neon green shades.

HELLSTAR X ADIDAS AE2 RELEASE INFORMATION

The next project from Sean Holland’s Hellstar & adidas is currently expected to release this weekend, on February 14th, 2026, as a part of adidas’ All-Star Weekend lineup. Featuring Anthony Edwards’ AE2, Hellstar’s performance model debut features a desert camouflage color scheme with neon green accents. Pairs will likely be available in limited supply in Los Angeles, with pricing expected to be around $150.
