This freshly dropped trio of Samba OGs are directly inspired by vintage jerseys and further evolved with a fold-over tongue to echo that true on-pitch vibe for the sidewalk. Single-handedly reviving the tennis-shoe movement in the mid 2010s, the Stan has firmly placed itself in the pantheon of lifestyle fashion — and somehow adidas made it even better. Enter the adidas Stan Smith Lux; keeping with the original construction, this execution sees premium leather uppers, leather lining, and cushioned soles that go perfectly with any weekender’s head-to-toe look. A clashing of two eras, the Campus from the 1980s jumps forward two decades to the Y2K era, bringing that chunkier look with fattened tongues and gum soles to boot. The Legacy Teal colorway grasps that youthful spirit with its full-suede upper, but adidas offers some variety with the canvas upper in either “Aluminum” or “Grey Three”.
