First reported last December, Jordan Brand has officially unveiled this year’s Air Jordan 10 “Sacramento” retro at a press preview in New York.
The “Sacramento” 10s look unassuming, but they’re actually part of an important chapter in Jordan Brand history. Since MJ was off pursuing baseball when the Jordan 10 was designed, Tinker Hatfield made the AJ10 something of a “tribute shoe” by highlighting his basketball feats on the outsole. And since MJ wasn’t there to serve as the face of the model upon launching, Jordan Brand instead released a “City Pack” featuring styles inspired by some of his fiercest rivals: the New York Knicks, Seattle SuperSonics, Orlando Magic, and Sacramento Kings. There was also a Bulls colorway Jordan would eventually lace up after returning, but that’s neither here nor there. Sacramento carries weight in the Jordan Brand world for another reason thanks to Mike Bibby’s long run of PEs, granted the “Sacramento” Jordan 10 has nothing to do with his particular sneaker legacy.
To little surprise, the 2026 retro looks pretty much exactly like the original, though there are bound to be differences in shape and materials. Tumbled black leather forms the upper, while Dark Concord lands on the interior and outsole.
The Air Jordan 10 “Sacramento” is currently queued up for a December 5th, 2026 release for $205 in adult sizes. Check out detailed images below if you’re budgeting for a pair.
