UPDATE 6/2/26: Our first look at Mowalola’s upcoming Air Jordan 14 Mule project has arrived this week. First leaked early this year, the project heavily modified the retro Jumpman silhouette to remove the heels and lacing system for a simple slip-on. Originally only in the “Burnt Red” color seen in the mockup above, the new photos show off their second style, casting the shoe in a metallic silver finish. The release date has not been confirmed yet, but is currently rumored for September 18th, 2026.

After many leaks surrounding a potential collaboration from fashion label Mowalola and Jordan Brand, we finally have some official info about a release next year. The two will rework the Air Jordan 14 into a slip-on mule, dressing it in a black/silver/red color scheme.

Mowalola is a bold, boundary-pushing fashion brand founded by British-Nigerian designer Mowalola Ogunlesi. Known for its fearless mix of streetwear, clubwear, and high fashion, the label thrives on vibrant colors, exaggerated silhouettes, and daring graphics. It challenges traditional ideas of gender, identity, and body norms, creating clothing that feels both rebellious and empowering. The label has dipped their toes into sneaker collaborations through releases with New Balance and Crocs. Next year, they are rumored to be taking their footwear a step further with a Jordan release.

The Mowalola x Jordan collaboration has been a known rumor for the past few weeks, but until today we had no concrete evidence of the project. Thanks to zSneakerheadz, we now have official details of the shoe’s color combination, style guide, and a Fall 2026 release designation. Originally reported to be a standard pair of the Air Jordan 14, new info suggests that release will instead be a Mule adaptation of the iconic model. the AJ14 has never released in this format, so the mock-up image seen above is just an idea of what this shoe could look like. The pair will come in a black-based colorway, with metallic silver as a secondary tone and Burnt Red as an accent.

MOWALOLA X AIR JORDAN 14 MULE RELEASE INFORMATION

The debut collaboration from fashion label Mowalola and Jordan Brand has not been announced yet, but is rumored to release during the Fall 2026 season. Featuring a reworked mule version of the Air Jordan 14, the shoe will come in a color combination of black, metallic silver, and burnt red.
