Bad Bunny and adidas are on fire this year, with an arsenal of sneakers lined up for the remainder of 2026. This week we have another addition to the growing list, a 1.1 update for the BadBo signature model, coming soon.

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio is on a roll with his adidas partnership this year. The two kicked off 2026 with the launch of Bad Bunny’s first signature model, the BadBo 1.0, timing up the debut with his Super Bowl halftime performance, quickly following up with two more colorways. The model has been relatively silent since then, with the exception of a “Night Navy” colorway appearing recently. They have been busy on other fronts, teasing slides, boxing shoes, and the F50 Ghost Sprint, all expected over the net few months.

Today we finally have an update on the BadBo, bringing an early look at the model’s 1.1 version coming soon. The updated model’s release is unexpectedly early, given the 1.0 version has only released in three colors over the span of February and March of this year. The 1.1 version appears to make some subtle changes to the shoe’s shape, reducing the height of the collar to be closer to a low-top, adjusting some of the paneling along the way. Seen here in a mix of white and grey shades, the look brings a mesh base layer to the silhouette, and simplifies the construction of the side walls, while adding a new overlay for the toe box.

BAD BUNNY X ADIDAS BADBO 1.1 RELEASE INFORMATION

The new update for Bad Bunny’s adidas BadBo sneaker, version 1.1, has not been officially announced yet, but is currently speculated to release this Fall, on September 15th, 2026. The revised silhouette appears to be slightly shorter than its 1.0 predecessor, revising the panels around the collar and swapping some materials for a more breathable design. Pairs will likely be available from both partners, and are expected to come with a $120 price tag.
