Fear of God and adidas announced the end of their Athletics line last year, but their final releases from the project are still rolling out. This month, the Basketball III sneaker lands in a simple “Cinder” colorway.

Jerry Lorenzo formally confirmed the end of the partnership between his Fear of God label and adidas in December. The two worked together for only a few years, dropping even fewer collections in that time. Citing their creative differences and varied approaches to releasing new product, the two called it quits before the Basketball III sneaker even made it to market. Nonetheless, adidas had already produced stock for the final installment in the Athletics line, and the third iteration of the court-ready basketball shoe is still arriving in new colorways up to this season. Today, we have an official look at the model’s “Cinder” colorway, a simple release that pits the knit and suede upper in a burnt grey-brown shade. This is paired with a two-toned off-white midsole to complete the look.
