The FC Barcelona x Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Team Gold” will be released on July 31, 2025. This collaboration makes sense, as Bryant was a big fan of soccer and FC Barcelona. The retail price is $190.

Nike Basketball will honor Kobe Bryant with a new collaboration using the Kobe 4 Protro. For this pair, it connects with FC Barcelona, which Kobe Bryant was a fan of. Overall, Bryant loved soccer, as we saw other pairs inspired by the sport. Highlighted in Team Gold, the shoes also come with Persian Violet detailing and FC Barcelona’s crest.

This Nike Kobe 4 is dressed in a Team Gold, Black, and Persian Violet color combination. The color blocking used on the shoes is inspired by FC Barcelona’s 2025-26 away kit. As you can see, we have Team Gold on the upper with snakeskin texture on the overlays. In addition, Persian Violet lands on the liner, outlines the Swoosh, and covers the midsole, which gradients to Gold around the heel. Highlighting the pair is the FC Barcelona crest on the tongue, insole, inside the tongue, and lace dubrae. Kobe’s numbers, “8” and “24,” are debossed on the heels, and the heel counter features a shiny finish. The design is completed with a Purple rubber outsole.
