EXCLUSIVE: Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ Pushed to Summer 2024

The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ was originally released in 2012 as part of Nike Basketball’s ‘All-Star’ Collection. Some give credit to the pair for starting the Foamposite hype that lasted several years. The brand looks to recapture the craze by bringing back the shoes in 2024.

The ‘Galaxy’ Nike Air Foamposite One released part of the ‘All-Star’ collection in 2012 that expanded across the Sportswear and Basketball line. Pairs that were also released are the KD 4, Kobe 7, LeBron 9, Dunk High, and Air Flight One. From the lineup, the Foamposite was the most sought-after and most limited. Furthermore, we saw the theme applied to the Zoom Rookie and a sequel to the Foams known as ‘Big Bang’.

Although images of this Nike Air Foamposite One have yet to leak, we were told by our sources that the shoes will resemble the 2012 release. There is a possibility that some materials could change, but confirmation is not available at the time of writing.

We can expect the 2024 release to feature the iconic Galaxy print across the Foamposite shell and Black on the eyestays. Penny’s 1 Cent logo appears on the tongue, heel, and outsole with a mini Swoosh by the toe. Other details will include a carbon fiber mid-foot shank plate and a glow-in-the-dark rubber outsole. More than likely, the ‘Remove Before Flight’ tag will be included.

Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy 2024 Release Details

You can expect the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ to release at select retailers and Nike.com during Summer 2024. There is a possibility that the shoes could debut for All-Star Weekend 2024.
