Eminem’s Air Jordan 4 “Encore” 2027 Release Reportedly Pulled

Update, September 24, 2026: The Eminem Air Jordan 4 “Encore” is no longer expected to release in 2027 after reportedly being pulled from Jordan Brand’s calendar. Eminem’s manager, Paul Rosenberg, responded “Nope” when asked about the release.

Eminem’s custom sneakers from Jordan Brand have remained incredibly exclusive even twenty years removed from their original creation. Reports said the “Encore” Air Jordan 4 would release to the public next year, but that release has reportedly since been pulled from Jordan Brand’s calendar.

Jordan Brand has created some incredible sneakers over the years, some harder to get than others. One of their most elusive styles of the early 2000s comes from Eminem, one of the most prolific rappers of the era. Marshall Mathers had a strong relationship with Nike, though most of his sneakers were created in very limited runs as auction items or friends and family exclusives. The initial releases in the early 2000s featured a number of Air Force styles with Shady Records or album specific branding, before moving on to a Charity Air Max series in 2006 that covered a huge array of sneakers including AM90, 95 97, 180, 2003, and more. Nestled in the middle of these two eras is the iconic “Encore” Air Jordan 4.

The Jordan 4 remains one of the most sought after sneakers in history. Released the same year as Undefeated’s similarly scarce Air Jordan 4, the “Encore” pair was made to celebrate the album, and rumored to be limited to just 50 pairs in existence. Most were given to friends and family, with a select few given out to fans through a contest. The pair is one of the only all blue pairs of the AJ4 in existence, coloring the upper in ‘blue ribbon’ nubuck, with black details, silver eyelets, and Eminem branding inside the tongues and pull tabs. New leaks in August said the pair would get a wide release, with some small changes, in 2027, though that release has reportedly since been pulled from the calendar. Instead of the red branding on the original, all logos will now come in a Game Purple shade, a small alteration to separate them from the OGs.

Over twenty years since its initial creation, Eminem’s stunning blue pair of the Air Jordan 4 was rumored to release to the public for the first time next year, on May 15th, 2027, but that release has reportedly been pulled from Jordan Brand’s calendar. Details on the retail pair will be slightly altered, using purple branding instead of red, but will reportedly retain the Eminem logo inside the tongues. It is unclear if or when the pair will become available, and whether the previously reported $230 price will still apply.

The planned 2027 release is now in doubt. The “Encore” has reportedly been pulled from Jordan Brand’s release calendar, and it is unclear whether the pair has been delayed or scrapped altogether. Eminem’s manager, Paul Rosenberg, added to the uncertainty, responding “Nope” when asked about the reported retail release. This would not be the first time Jordan Brand revisited the “Encore.” In 2017, around the release of Eminem’s Revival album, the brand made 23 additional pairs, one of which was offered through a StockX charity auction benefiting the Marshall Mathers Foundation.
